Admittedly, there are constants about who I am, what I believe in and how I feel that will not change........However I love new products and use them almost maniacally until I am bored with them.
Here are a few of my "holiday have to haves"
I have really enjoyed the low sugar no carb "Monster energy drinks.Really gives a lift when you are dragging....
I got kind of bored with the "red bull" taste of the low carbs and tried this orange kind. It has juice in it and improves the taste like 150%!
Granted, you will find a few more calories...but juice is juice afterall!! LOL
Now for all of you former addicts wagging your finger at me...take a look into your coffee cup before you cross this line! LOL
The Monster drinks are free of caffeine jitters and the ginsing really improves alertness.
If you have to be awake....you might as well be in the company of a monster!!
If you have not yet been turned on to the tastes...and the smells of
pomegranate you are missing out!
I have discovered that there are two types of people in this world....
people who want to drown themselves in everything pomegranite... and those who can't stand the smell, don't like the taste and can't spell the fruit!
I of course want to BE a pomegranite. Can't get enough of it.
Juices, shower gels, candles and room freshners don't seem to be enough! If anybody knows of a pillow spray I would be interested.
I find the most challenging part of being a pomegranate addict is when you have been married 24 years to someone who doesn't care for the taste or smell. Any suggestions?
This is "Target's" answer to room deodorizing, and it is FANTASTIC! It is called THE PILL made by Method.
It comes in incredible fragrances...gingerbread spice...vanilla apple...frosted cranberry and spiced pear to name a few .
The initial purchase might be a little pricey because you are buying the plastic part, but after that you purchase the refills which are very reasonable and comparable with other room deodorizers.
TAZO Tea...Berryblossom White
Comes from Starbucks....never have seen it before. I received sample teabags in a "Starbucks Gift Package" for the holiday. I went into the store to stock my shelves and they don't carry this kind in any of their stores!!
This tea is to die for!! If you like tea...you will love this, if you prefer coffee, you will like this tea!
I like it extra hot with one splenda and I just found it on the internet at a weird company called Vitaglo.
I purchased 6 boxes, so that should help me ride out the storm on this binge. If you need any email me, I might be able to work up a price for you on a bag by bag basis! LOLOLOLOLO
Not for the faint of heart. If you desire to remain sour or bitter...or hang on to a destructive mood I might suggest something else.
This musical arrangement is annointed..and you don't even have to listen to it, if you are SIMPLY AROUND IT PLAYING your spirit will be touched.

Today I prefer Keith Green...Rich Mullins and Brian Doerksen.
If you don't know of Brian you will find his talent uplifting, and his lyrics fresh. His use of the oboe and pennywhistles brings a light essence of heaven to me.
He will probably be best known to you as the author of "Refiner's Fire."
If you get a chance to check out his cut "YOU ARE EVERYTHING I NEED" from this CD you will not be disspointed, but blessed abundantly.
Now don't forget these are binges...fads....they could be changed before twilight tonight!
My favorite actress right now is Doris Roberts. I love the way she plays my life! I actually watch everybody loves Raymond regularly so that I can be reminded of how my daughter-in-law as well as the rest of the world can view my efforts! LOL Marie Barone is my soul sister!
Truthfully...Marie has a BIG heart (just like me) and she has no idea what she looks like or how she sounds! (just like me) I love her and I know what she really means and so I enjoy her to no end!

AMERICAN CHOPPER is my current television entertainment of choice.A new program to TLC it is not new to cable I am told...but it is new to me.
I don't understand ANYTHING about building or riding motorcycles but the interaction between these guys in the shop is 100% entertaining.
It is one of those shows that will leave a permanent smirk on your face when you are alone in the room.
The other day I watched the father who is a weathered salty old dog throw a coffee cup across the room ....and I got to my feet and cheered..yelling "That's Right Senior Our Kids Never Understand Us!" It was exhilarating!
My current favorite man to watch..................Maurice Bernard.............what can I say? Some things are just chemistry.
These are my New Year's Books.................
MAN IN WHITE written by Johnny Cash. This will be my third time to read it (this fad has not passed) It is a fictional story about our beloved 13th apostle Paul. It's out of print and hard to find but my friend Nancy Finch can get you a copy somewhere on the internet just because she loves you! :)
HEALING IS A CHOICE written by Steven Arterburn. This will be my second time through this one. A great step program to apply to that unwanted and nasty baggage I carry around with me. Last year I was helped by this book to unload a few significant cases...praying for a similar experience.
CURVES mandatory new years weight management guide.
LOVING GOD WITH ALL YOUR MIND written by Elizabeth George. I feel that for the first time in about 23 years I might actually have a mind of my own. I've decided that what I have of a mind I would like to start off by loving God with all of it! By the way...this year if I offer you a piece of my mind and you don't really want it, please tell me. Thanks :)
FINALLY............................................
This is my plate after finishing my last piece of homemade fruitcake.
Much like pomegranite people the world seems to be divided between people who like fruitcake a whole lot and people who don't.
I have found that the former group is a much smaller group and I am very much a part of it.......but you might be too!!!
If you have only had a piece of dried fruitcake vacumme packed and maybe even cloned that has been sitting on a back shelf in a tin in a warehouse somewhere do not judge it as fruitcake.
Be good to yourself. Find a fresh piece of fruitcake without a label or a tin and try it...you just might change your opinion!
The few things that never change are that I love my God, I love my husband, I love my kids, I love Emmie and I love my friends! Everything else is up for grabs even my hair color!
